Emily Grossman M.A., Founder
Emily received her training from Columbia University, where she earned a Master's in Education. She has a Bachelor's in English from Rutgers University. Emily also works as a job coach for the Mental Health Association in New Jersey. Additionally, Emily is working with the Mental Health Association in New Jersey to receive a Community Mental Health Associate Certificate. Provided through a nationally recognized program called Consumer Connections, Emily has been trained to work with those who are struggling with mental illness and other disabilities. Prior to her work in the middle school classroom, she was an Assistant Director for two nationally recognized tutoring agencies.
In addition to Emily's general coaching work with young people, she has a special passion for working with those youth with disabilities. This passion grew when, after several years of work as a teacher in a middle school classroom, Emily began to see a need for specific, yet unorthodox services for her special needs students. It was apparent that there were not enough supports in place for students with disabilities. Thus, Emily has created coaching programs that are customized so that all young people can accomplish their goals and dreams. While Emily brings years of experience to each young person that she works with, more importantly, she also brings her heart.
