The article on The New York Times' " Motherload" blog entitled When A Child Has a Mental Illness is a must read for parents who are struggling with their own child who has a mental illness. In this article, two parents are interviewed whose son was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at the age of 19. The interview clearly expresses all of the emotions that the family goes went through when receiving such a diagnosis for their children, and explores some of the highs and lows for the family as well. It is very inspirational.
